Teflon™ Definition / Fluorocarbon Resins

Teflon™ is a DuPont registered trademark for a series of fluoroplastic resins comprising polytetrafluoroethylene. These resins are commonly referred to as PTFE/TFE, mTFE for modified PFTE, PFA or FEP depending upon their chemical makeup.
